State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, "Good governance has been ensured with development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina." There is no alternative to the active participation of the grassroots leaders and workers of the Awami League in achieving the goal of a prosperous country with a developed, modern, technology based, merit based economy by 2041.

In his speech, Palak said that in the path shown by Bangabandhu, the people's leader Sheikh Hasina has built a digital Bangladesh based on modern technology instead of a labor dependent economy with talent, honesty and courage. In just 13 years, she has taken Least Developed Bangladesh into the status of a developing country. She has established good governance along with development. It is providing social protection to a large number of people including old age allowance, widow allowance, disability allowance for the destitute people of the country. No family will be homeless in the country.

Bangabandhu has spent 14 out of 55 years in jail. For 24 years he has been engaged in the struggle for the rights of the people of this country and has given the gift of freedom. In just three and a half years, he got the opportunity to serve the country and laid a strong foundation for building 'Sonar Bangla'. Had he not been assassinated by domestic and foreign conspirators, the country would have reached in a status of a developed country, long ago.
He said that the defeated forces of the liberation war were rehabilitated by destroying the spirit of liberation war in this country from 1975 to 1996 and from 2001 to 2007. At that time the development of the country was far away, the country became a hotbed of militancy and terrorism. There was no security for the people at that time.
Palak said if Awami League is in power, the fate of the people of the country will change and development of the country will be ensured. There is no alternative to the active participation of the grassroots leaders and workers of the Awami League in achieving the goal of a prosperous country with a developed, modern, technology based, merit based economy by 2041.
